Country Leader Controls Meyrin/Geneva, Switzerland We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven executive to lead the Building Controls portfolio with P&L responsibility. This role combines senior-level client leadership, sales strategy, and cross-functional execution to win, grow, and scale solutions for complex building automation and energy management initiatives. The Country Leader Controls will cultivate executive-level relationships, drive profitable growth, and expand Johnson Controls’ footprint across Switzerland. Key Responsibilities Own the P&L and revenue growth for the Building Controls portfolio; develop and execute plans to achieve revenue, margin, and service targets. Define and lead the end-to-end go-to-market strategy, including cross-functional sales, distribution, partnerships, and marketing programs. Build, manage, and nurture executive-level relationships with key clients to expand solution penetration, retentions, and long-term partnerships. Oversee forecasting, pipeline management, and bookings commitments; monitor performance, identify risks, and optimize programs for profitability. Lead complex deal shaping, pricing, and contract negotiations; ensure favorable terms, risk mitigation, and alignment with company standards. Apply deep building controls and building automation expertise to identify opportunities and accelerate growth; translate customer needs into scalable solutions. Collaborate with product, engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure delivery excellence and high customer satisfaction. Drive cross-sell and up-sell across adjacent solutions (e.g., energy management, IoT, data analytics, cybersecurity) to maximize account value. Develop and manage high-performing regional teams or dotted-line leaders; coach for performance, succession planning, and capability development. Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and contractual risk management. Represent the organization at industry events and executive briefings to reinforce market leadership and visibility. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; sales acumen, strategic account management, or business development experience with proven leadership and P&L accountability. Demonstrated success in building controls/building automation, energy management, or related technologies; established regional network in Meyrin/Greater Geneva is essential. Strong analytical, financial, and strategic mindset with a track record of delivering sustainable profitable growth. Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presence; ability to influence at C-suite and board levels. Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and forecasting processes; data-driven decision maker. German, French and English fluency is mandatory. Technical and Functional Competencies Knowledge of building management systems (BMS), BAS, energy performance contracting, and related automation technologies. Strong deal leadership, risk management, and contract lifecycle management. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions for executive audiences.
